Why is my dog not eating?
A single skipped meal in an otherwise bright, playful dog is usually not urgent. Refusing food for more than about 24 hours, or any refusal combined with vomiting, lethargy or pain, warrants a call to your vet.
How much should I feed my dog?
Start with the feeding guide on the food packaging for your dog's ideal weight, not their current weight, then adjust based on body condition every few weeks. Guidelines are starting points, not prescriptions.
Why does my dog follow me everywhere?
Usually affection and habit rather than anxiety. Dogs are social animals and follow the person they bond with most. It only signals a problem if your dog panics when left alone.
Why does my puppy bite everything?
Biting is normal puppy behaviour, not aggression. Puppies explore with their mouths and chew to relieve teething pain. Redirect onto a chew toy every time, and never onto hands.
Why is my dog shaking?
Shaking is often normal (cold, excitement, or stress) but can sometimes signal pain or illness.
